Learn how to create your own personal yoga practice through various tools, tips, and techniques. This monthly, four-part series will cover props, posture modifications, and more. All levels are encouraged to participate.

Discover ways to open up your yoga practice through working with common (and maybe a few uncommon!) yoga props. In this workshop, we will find new depth, length, and ease in our postures, and the freedom to modify our own practice in a classroom setting or at home.

Students are encouraged to bring their own blocks, strap, bolsters, pillows, blankets, or any items used as personal props.

A vinyasa is a transitional series of postures that serve many purposes during a yoga practice. Many people face challenges with the traditional vinyasa or just want to try something new. In this workshop, we will address common issues experienced by new and experienced yoga practitioners and give alternative solutions to the same old vinyasa sequence.

In this workshop, we will discuss ways to modify common yoga postures to fit our bodies, moods, and lifestyles, empowering us to appreciate our unique selves and the beauty of a personal yoga practice.

Yoga postures are not all warriors and balance challenges. We can always stay steady on the ground and discover new ways to open our minds and bodies without the wobbles or overdoing our practice.

In this workshop, we will discuss postures that are built from the ground up, using the floor, the wall, and a few other stable “props” to create a more gentle approach to deep stretches.

Students are encouraged to bring their own blocks, strap, bolsters, pillows, blankets, or any items used as personal props.
