Ashtanga yoga is an eight-limbed system that encompasses more than the physical practice of yoga (asana or postures). Ashtanga asanas or postures are repeated in each class, in the same order, to provide students with a deeper insight into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual changes that may occur over time.
