Sterling VA Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is an eight-limbed system that encompasses more than the physical practice of yoga (asana or postures). Ashtanga asanas or postures are repeated in each Sterling yoga class, in the same order, to provide students with a deeper insight into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual changes that may occur over time. Ashtanga classes include no music, except for the sound of your breath and are perfect for all levels.

Power Vinyasa Yoga in Sterling

Power Vinyasa yoga links breath to each movement in a class. We build heat through breathing techniques based on Ashtanga yoga, and then add in creative asana sequencing and music that will keep you motivated through savasana. Power Vinyasa yoga classes are all levels, ages, and abilities.

Sterling Beginner Yoga Classes

Our beginner yoga classes are a slower, more in-depth approach to the physical practice of yoga. All levels and bodies can create their own experience of a pose or asana, in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment that is perfect for exploration and discovery.

Yin Yoga in Sterling, Virginia

Yin yoga is the complement to yang styles of yoga, such as vinyasa or Ashtanga. In most yoga classes, students experience yin postures prior to the final resting pose (savasana), allowing fascia and connective tissues around the joints to lengthen and strengthen. These slower postures encourage flexibility and range of motion. Yin yoga is accessible to all levels, all ages, and all abilities, in and around Sterling VA.
