Ashtanga Yoga in Herndon
Ashtanga yoga is an eight-limbed system that encompasses more than the physical practice of yoga (asana or postures). Ashtanga asanas or postures are repeated in each class, in the same order, to provide students with a deeper insight into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual changes that may occur over time. Ashtanga classes include no music, except for the sound of your breath. Ashtanga classes are perfect for all levels.
Herndon Power Vinyasa Yoga
Power Vinyasa yoga links breath to each movement in a class. We build heat through breathing techniques based on Ashtanga yoga, add in creative asana sequencing and music that will keep you motivated through savasana. Power Vinyasa yoga classes are all levels, ages, and abilities.
Beginner Yoga Classes in Herdon
Our beginner yoga classes are a slower, more in-depth approach to the physical practice of yoga. All levels and bodies can create their own experience of a pose or asana, in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment for exploration and discovery.
Herndon Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is the complement to yang styles of yoga, such as vinyasa or Ashtanga. In most yoga classes, students experience yin postures prior to the final resting pose (savasana), allowing fascia and connective tissues around the joints to strengthen. These slower postures encourage flexibility and range of motion. Yin yoga is accessible to all levels, all ages, and all abilities.
